SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The Spokane County sheriff’s helicopter found two snowmobilers who became lost on Mount Spokane.
The copter directed rescuers to the scene Monday evening. One man was transported to a hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
The sheriff’s office says the two men in the 20s got their snowmobiles stuck in heavy snow and tried to walk out. They called for help about 3 p.m. and said they were lost.
