Petrell, Hall lead Oilers past Jets 5-3

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Lennart Petrell and Taylor Hall both had a goal and an assist as the Edmonton Oilers scored four times in the third period to beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-3 on Monday night.

Petrell assisted on Hall’s winner midway through the third period as Edmonton earned its third win in four games. Ryan Whitney, Ryan Jones and Jordan Eberle also scored for the Oilers.

Kyle Wellwood and Alex Burmistrov each scored in the second period for Winnipeg), while Nik Antropov added a goal with 1:10 left in the game.

Devan Dubnyk made 27 saves for the win, while Ondrej Pavelec stopped 20 shots for the Jets.
