High School Athlete of the week nominees

The following athletes have been nominated for The Columbian’s athlete of the week. To vote, go to www.facebook.com/360preps.

Voting will continue through 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Jocelyn Adams, Skyview girls basketball: Adams had 24 points and 16 rebounds, making 9 of 10 shots from the floor and 6 of 7 from the free throw line in Skyview’s regional win over Lake Stevens. She also scored 12 points in a bi-district win over Bethel of Spanaway.

Jordan Chatman, Union boys basketball: Chatman had 21 points and seven rebounds in Union’s 4A regional win over Curtis. He also scored 18 points in a bi-district loss to Federal Way.

Chris Crenshaw, King’s Way Christian boys basketball: Crenshaw buried 11 3-pointers and scored 35 points over two games last week to help send the Knights to their first trip to the Class 1B state tournament.

Jackie Lanz, Prairie girls basketball: Lanz had 18 points and nine rebounds in about three quarters of action as Prairie routed Juanita to return to the 3A state tournament. She also scored 11 points in a bi-district championship game win over Wilson.

Megan Lindsley, Prairie girls basketball: Lindsley scored 16 and 17 points in the Falcons’ two wins in the bi-district tournament and the 3A regional game.
