Vandals break windows at Portland bank

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Vandals threw rocks through windows at two banks and a Starbucks Tuesday night in Portland's Hollywood business district.

Police say they're checking bank security video to identify suspects.

KGW reports (http://is.gd/rnIqea ) an email sent to the media claimed responsibility by a group of anti-capitalists.

The email said the vandalism was in preparation for a march planned downtown Wednesday by the Occupy Portland group. That group said on its website it would peacefully try to disrupt businesses with nonviolent civil disobedience.
