PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An office manager who embezzled close to $250,000 from her employer and spent some of the money on breast enhancements was sentenced Wednesday in Portland to nearly five years in prison.
Lisa Marie Sundquist had pleaded guilty in Multnomah County Circuit Court to theft of the money in 2008 and 2009 when she worked as office manager for the Surgical Specialty Group.
As part of the sentence, The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/4GpmtB ) the 45-year-old Hillsboro woman will have to repay the money.
Records show she spent it on breast and tummy plastic surgery, sessions at tanning salons, eating out, flowers and clothes.
