Camp Fire girl lights fundraising fire for Vida’s Ark

Stockford Village — The Applebee’s restaurant off Northeast 99th Street has become the site of frequent fundraising events for community groups. The latest was a pancake breakfast for Vida’s Ark, a Vancouver home for homeless teen mothers. The Jan. 21 event collected more than $400 for Vida’s Ark. Meena Mortazavi, a longtime member of Camp Fire USA, organized the event.
