Miss Washington asks, watch for crown on Internet

EDGEWOOD, Wash. (AP) — Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are tracking credit cards stolen from Miss Washington, Brittney Henry, along with her crown, gowns, shoes and sashes.

Spokesman Ed Troyer says detectives also are looking for video Wednesday that could help with the investigation.

Henry told KIRO-FM (http://is.gd/fP9lY5) her stolen credit cards had been used at stores around Federal Way, Puyallup and Tacoma.

She wrote on the Miss Washington Scholarship Organization’s Facebook page she was devastated by the theft of “priceless” items and wants people to watch Craigslist or eBay for anyone trying to sell her crown and sash, which say “Miss Washington 2011.”

They were in her car, which was stolen early Tuesday from the driveway her home at Edgewood. The car was found a few miles away, but her property was missing.
