Woman who drowned in Little Washougal River identified

Officials on Wednesday afternoon revealed the name of the woman who accidentally drowned in the Little Washougal River as Sheri Ann Mills, 42.

She lived in a nearby house, according to a bulletin from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Her body was seen Monday. The Clark County Technical Rescue Team pulled it to shore.

An investigation was performed by the Clark County Medical Examiner and the sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit.

Her family has been notified, the bulletin said.
