Letter: Use common sense with fog lights

How many lights are needed for a car or truck for safe driving at night? Headlights are a no-brainer, but the giant fog lamps and multiple grill lights are real blinders in any rear-view mirror. Of course, foggy nights do require additional night vision, but when fog is not a factor, those extra bright front lights can really cause vision problems.
