WOODINVILLE, Wash. (AP) -- Students and friends have created a skate park mural in honor of a Woodinville, Wash., high school teacher murdered on Christmas Eve.
The group gathered Monday with paint brushes and a plan to create the tribute to Prudence Hockley.
KOMO-TV reports (http://is.gd/hFitsi ) the mural depicts things Hockley enjoyed, such as an Alaska skyline, Mount McKinley, kiwi fruit and flowers.
A man Hockley had dated, Johnnie Lee Wiggins, has been charged with second-degree murder. She was killed outside her Seattle-area home. Wiggins is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 12.
