A Vancouver woman remained in intensive care Monday night after a two-vehicle collision in the Heritage neighborhood, according to a bulletin from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
Heather Velazquez, 36, was listed in critical condition at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.
The other driver, Randall Peterson, 52, of Vancouver was listed in satisfactory condition at PeaceHealth.
About 1:20 p.m. Monday, Velazquez was driving a 1984 Chevrolet van east at Northeast 157th Avenue and Ward Road. Peterson was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer south; the Ford hit the van on the driver’s side.
Velazquez’s three sons were treated and released.
Alcohol was not believed to be a factor, said sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Roberts.
