Boys basketball: Prairie 61, Hudson’s Bay 51

Ryan Denny scored 20 points, and Preston Brooks went for 17 points, seven assists, and five steals as Prairie improved to 2-1 in the 3A Greater St. Helens League.

Prairie held the Eagles to four points in the third quarter to take a 12-point advantage.

Brooks and Denny combined to go 8 for 9 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter, holding off the Eagles.

Andy Hak added 10 points for Prairie.

Ane Sipaia led Hudson’s Bay with 12 points.
