Not guilty plea in Spokane rapper shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Extra officers helped maintain security Tuesday in Spokane County Superior Court at the arraignment for a rapper charged with murder in the shooting of another rapper at a hotel after a Spokane concert.
John "Lil Danger" Castro pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and assault charges in the Nov. 27 shooting that killed 21-year-old Jose A. "Junior" Solis, 21, of Moses Lake. Police say Solis was hosting an after-concert party when a friend got into an argument with another group.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://is.gd/HNsypf ) the 27-year-old Castro remains in jail on $1?million bond.
Six other men wanted on assault charges in connection with the case remain at large.
