A short bandit with facial hair hit the Orchards branch of US Bank just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The bandit was last seen leaving the bank, at 6407 N.E. 117th Ave., in a silver car, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

He was described as a white man, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with facial hair. He wore a black hoodie sweatshirt and black gloves.
