PUYALLUP, Wash. (AP) — The Pierce County sheriff’s office is investigating the shooting death of a man in his 20s at a home near Puyallup.

Spokesman Ed Troyer told KOMO Radio the shooting was reported about 3:30 a.m. Thursday by the man’s roommate.

Troyer says there’s a small marijuana-growing operation in the home and other evidence indicates the shooting was drug-related.
