KOENIGSSEE, Germany (AP) — Olympic champion Felix Loch won a World Cup race on his home luge track for the first time Friday to extend his lead in the overall standings.

Loch’s victory also was the first win in Koenigssee for a German luger in 10 years. Loch beat Italian veteran Armin Zoeggeler by 0.2 seconds. Johannes Ludwig of Germany was third.
