ATLANTA (AP) — LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, each slowed by injuries, are on Miami’s active list for Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says Wade, who has a sore left foot, is “a little bit more unlikely” than James to play against the Hawks. Wade sat out Wednesday night’s 118-83 win over Indiana. He hurt his foot at Charlotte on Dec. 28.
James turned his left ankle late in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s game. He appeared to step on the foot of Indiana’s Paul George while attempting a fast-break layup. He still finished with 33 points and 13 assists.
Spoelstra says he’s thankful “these aren’t debilitating injuries.”
