SION, Switzerland (AP) -- Hundreds of FC Sion fans have protested the treatment by FIFA, UEFA and Switzerland's Football Association during a three-year legal dispute.
Supporters jeered the mention of Sepp Blatter's name and displayed posters comparing the FIFA president, who comes from nearby Visp, to a Mafia godfather.
Swiss media reports that Sion coach Laurent Roussey and players Goran Obradovic and Geoffroy Serey Die joined the rally.
Under threat of a FIFA suspension, the Swiss FA deducted 36 league points from Sion last month for fielding six ineligible players who were signed during a transfer embargo. Sion is appealing the punishment.
UEFA kicked Sion out of this season's Europa League after the players helped beat Celtic in a playoff.
