SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) — Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in a child sexual abuse and pornography case that has stunned authorities in the close-nit town of Snohomish.

The Everett Herald reports (http://is.gd/2qQXdE ) that police arrested Enrique D. Sanchez Leon on Thursday for the investigation that he forced two sisters — ages 5 and 8 — to perform sexual acts and pose naked.

Police also seized 30 computers and 60 external hard drives that they suspect may have pictures of other minors.

Authorities fear that Sanchez Leon posed as a photographer in the community to lure girls. Detectives have identified at least other four girls who were victimized.

Sanchez Leon is being held on a $1 million bail.

Snohomish County deputy prosecutor Adam Cornell called the allegations “horrific.” He said a longtime detective told him the scope of the case was unprecedented in the detective’s career.
