1 dead in E. Ore. convenience store shooting

HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) -- A shooting at a convenience store in the northeast Oregon town of Hermiston has killed one person.
Acting Police Chief Jason Edmiston told The Tri-City Herald he couldn't immediately identify the victim in Monday's shooting at the Gotta Stop minimart.
Multiple gunshots were reported.
Edmiston says he can't confirm whether the shooting is gang-related.
The region's major crimes team is investigating.
