Burglary suspect shot and killed near Everett

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- The Snohomish County sheriff's office says a homeowner shot and killed a burglary suspect just before noon Monday at a residence near Everett.
The sheriff's office says the homeowner surprised the suspect who was shot in the confrontation inside the home.
Detectives are investigating, and the medical examiner's office is conducting an autopsy.
