Girls basketball: La Center 51, White Salmon 38

Samantha Wise made 9 of 13 free throws and scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Wildcats.

La Center led 17-13 at halftime, but took control with a 21-10 advantage in the third quarter.

“The girls just starting playing hard and things start to click in the third quarter,” La Center coach Kate Stephens said. “We put on the press, and they ran it well.”
