EPHRATA, Wash. (AP) -- The Grant County, Wash., sheriff says deputies arrested a 22-year-old after citizens mentioned that a young man in a red coat was approaching people in front of the county courthouse and asking if they wanted to buy marijuana.
Deputies on Tuesday found a man who smelled strongly of pot standing on the courthouse lawn in Ephrata. They also found more than 20 grams of packaged marijuana in his pockets.
Sheriff Tom Jones says Andrew Allen Kramer of Grand Coulee was arrested, cited for marijuana possession and released. The marijuana was seized.
Says Jones, "This one speaks for itself."
