Bellingham police motorcycle officer injures leg

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) -- A Bellingham police motorcycle officer crashed while make a turn Wednesday morning and was taken to a hospital with a leg injury.
Police say a puddle of fresh oil may have caused the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
The officer was returning to the police station at the time.
