ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Pierre-Marc Bouchard (pee-AYR’-marc boo-SHARD’) says he’s trying to stay positive after suffering another concussion.

The Minnesota Wild right wing is out indefinitely after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head a week ago. He said Wednesday that his symptoms aren’t as bad as they were before, when he missed 104 games over two seasons.

For now, he is not able to exercise until his headaches subside. Bouchard’s concussion history has made the team extra cautious about bringing him back to the ice too soon.

Bouchard says he’s “positive” he can come back from his latest head injury and that his career is not in jeopardy. He says the hard part is not knowing how much time it will take for him to be cleared to play.
