MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — James Johnson scored 18 points, Ike Azotam 14 and Dave Johnson 12 — all in the second half — to help Quinnipiac rally past Robert Morris 78-76 on Thursday.

The Bobcats trailed 35-27 at halftime, and shot 66.7 percent in the second half (16 of 24), including going 4 of 4 from long range. Quinnipiac (9-7, 2-3 Northeast Conference) outscored the Colonials 51-41 in the last 20 minutes.

Quinnipiac led 78-72 with 17 seconds left, and Velton Jones hit a layup 7 seconds later to pull the Colonials within four. James Johnson failed to give the Bobcats a bigger cushion, missing both his free throws with 8 seconds left.

Jones then made a layup with 2 seconds left for the final margin.

James Johnson finished with 22 points, Dave Johnson 18 and Azotam 17 as Quinnipiac snapped a two-game losing streak.

Jones paced the Colonials (12-6, 3-2) with 22 points.
