PULLMAN — The College of Business at Washington State University received high rankings in the inaugural Top Online Education list compiled by U.S. News and World Report.

The college’s online master of business administration and executive MBA program ranked first in admissions selectivity and third in student engagement and accreditation. The online MBA program started in 2009 and the online executive MBA in 2011.

The online program is a public-private partnership with EmbanetCompass Learning Group.

The business college also ranked 19th in undergraduate international business and 69th in undergraduate business programs, said Dean Eric R. Spangenberg.

In order to be considered for the rankings, programs had to provide at least 80 percent of their course content online.
