Fatal crash on icy Highway 126 near Veneta

VENETA, Ore. (AP) -- The Oregon State Police says icy conditions were a factor in a fatal crash Sunday night on Highway 126 near Veneta.
Sgt. Michael Brewster told KVAL (http://is.gd/aOsMQx ) the driver of an SUV hit some ice, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a sedan, killing that driver.
The driver of the SUV and four children in the SUV were taken to a hospital.
