ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have requested permission to interview Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy for their open head coach job.

A person familiar with the request confirmed a report by ESPN that the Raiders were going to interview McCoy. ESPN also reported that Oakland requested to interview Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen for the job.

New general manager Reggie McKenzie is also interested in interviewing assistants from Green Bay, where he had been director of football operations. Linebackers coach Winston Moss, coordinators Joe Philbin and Dom Capers, quarterbacks coach Tom Clements and secondary coach Darren Perry could be candidates.

McKenzie already interviewed former Miami interim coach Todd Bowles.
