CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) — Trey Sumler scored 18 points, leading nine Western Carolina players in double figures, as the Catamounts posted their highest point total ever in a 141-39 romp over Toccoa Falls on Tuesday night.

Western Carolina (9-10), which came in having lost two straight and four of its past five, broke its previous high set in a 133-58 rout of Toccoa Falls in 2001.

The margin of victory and points scored in the 72-17 first half were also Catamounts records.

Only three Western Carolina players did not reach double figures, including leading scorer Harouna Mutombo, who had nine points in 17 minutes.

James Sinclair added 16 points and 13 rebounds, Keaton Cole and Sam Smithson had 14 apiece, Ishmael Hollis 13, Tom Takelewicz 11 and Tawaski King, Preston Ross and Kenneth Hall 10 each.

The Catamounts had a 62-16 rebounding advantage over the Eagles (3-6) of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
