CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Robert Crawford and LaQuentin Miles scored 19 points apiece, and streaky Central Arkansas never trailed Wednesday in a 99-76 victory over Nicholls State.

Crawford hit four of Central Arkansas’ 10 3-pointers, and Miles added 10 rebounds to lead the Bears (7-9, 2-2 Southland). Jarvis Garner added 15 points, Jordan Harks chipped in 11 and Dewan Clayborn had 10. The Bears shot 53 percent (41 of 78) from the field.

Sam McBeath led the Colonels (4-13, 0-5) with 19 points but couldn’t prevent his team’s sixth straight loss. Shane Rillieux added 16.

Central Arkansas put the game away early, as a 17-4 first-half run put the Bears up 43-23 en route to a 53-38 halftime lead. They led by as many as 33 in the second half.

It was the Bears’ second straight win following six consecutive losses. Before that, UCA started the season 0-3, then won five in a row.
