George Mason routs Delaware 89-63

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Ryan Pearson scored 24 points and Mike Morrison added 17 as George Mason routed Delaware 89-63 on Wednesday night.

Pearson added 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots for the Patriots (14-5, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Conference) and Byron Allen chipped in 12 points.

Devon Sadler led the Blue Hens (7-10, 3-4) with 21 points. Josh Brinkley added 14 before fouling out and Jamelle Hagins scored 10.

George Mason led by 15 at intermission, but the Blue Hens got to within 51-42 on a Hagins dunk early in the second half.

Vaughn Gray responded with a 3-pointer for George Mason, igniting a 15-4 run that put the Patriots ahead by 20 with just over 11 minutes left in the game. George Mason led by as many as 29 late in the game.
