Lee scores final 4, Drexel beats Hofstra 56-50

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Damion Lee, who finished with 11 points, scored the final four in the last 17 seconds to help Drexel defeat Hofstra 56-50 Wednesday night.

Drexel (13-5, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association) led 51-47 with 1:01 left before Mike Moore hit the Pride's only 3-pointer with 34 seconds to play.

Frantz Massenat then made 1 of 2 free throws with 25 seconds left to put Drexel up by two, 52-50. The Pride (6-13, 0-7) tried to tie it, but Massenat took a charge on Moore with 17 seconds left. Moore, the CAA's leading scorer, fouled out on the play.

Lee then made both of his free throws, and after a blocked shot by Massenat, he received the ball at half court and slammed home a punctuating dunk with 3 seconds left.

Massenat picked up his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Moore led the Pride with 13 points.
