Ryan’s 39 power Evansville past Bradley 90-67

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Colt Ryan scored a career-high 39 points Wednesday night as Evansville cruised to a 90-67 victory over Bradley.

Ryan hit 12 of 21 from the field, augmenting that with a career-best eight 3-pointers in 14 attempts and 7 of 8 from the foul line. He scored nine in a row during a 17-0 run that put Evansville ahead 44-21 late in the first half.

The Purple Aces (9-9, 4-4 Missouri Valley) also got 16 points from Ned Cox, 12 from Ryan Sawvell and 11 from Kenny Harris. Troy Taylor had 10 rebounds for Evansville, which won its second in a row.

Jake Eastman hit four 3-pointers and led the Braves (6-14, 1-7) with 16 points. Jordan Prosser scored 12, Walt Lemon Jr. 11 and Taylor Brown 10.

Ryan’s big night helped the Aces shoot 50.8 percent (32 of 63) and 57.1 percent (12 of 21) from 3-point range.
