VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- The same nimble legs that danced with the stars are back on the pitch.
Hope Solo and the U.S. women's soccer team are in Vancouver as they attempt to qualify for the London Olympics.
Eight teams from are vying for two berths in the CONCACAF tournament. The U.S. opens on Friday against the Dominican Republic
Solo and her partner finished fourth on "Dancing With the Stars" last fall as she rode a wave of publicity following the World Cup.
Solo says the dancing kept her in shape, but she lost some of her muscle strength and had to gain it back for soccer.
