JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — New Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey has filled out his defensive staff by hiring Tony Oden as secondary coach.

Oden was an assistant defensive backs coach with the New Orleans Saints for five seasons before being promoted to secondary coach last season. He has a relationship with Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker, which likely helped him land the job.

The Jaguars still have several openings, including special teams coordinator and several offensive spots. They interviewed Ron Zook for special teams coordinator Wednesday and Sylvester Croom for running backs coach.

Already on staff are Tucker, offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski, linebackers coach Mark Duffner, defensive line coach Joe Cullen, assistant defensive line coach Paul Spicer, assistant defensive backs coach Marlon McCree, defensive assistant Brandon Blaney and assistant special teams coach Craig Aukerman.
