Letter: Improve government; get involved

The Columbian
Published: January 18, 2012, 4:00pm

A high level of public engagement is essential to improving government. This applies to voting, participation in public forums and writing letters to elected officials. If we want a fair and equitable government, we must study the issues carefully, then apply our vote. You lose your right to complain if you don’t vote, in my book.

Let’s leave our children and grandchildren a legacy of hope.
