Repair work temporarily closes Multnomah Falls Lodge elevator
Friday, January 20, 2012
Oregon’s Multnomah Falls earlier this week closed an elevator for upgrades and repair work that could last up to a month. Crews expect to have the elevator operational again by Feb. 12, according to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
During the closure, there will be no wheelchair access to the second floor of Multnomah Falls Lodge, including a restaurant on the upper level. The area will be accessible only by a staircase.
