BEND, Ore. (AP) — A discount air carrier is planning flights from Central Oregon to the Bay Area.
The Bend Bulletin reports (http://bit.ly/zddynF ) the direct flights will help open one of Oregon’s most well-known recreation areas to California tourists.
An Allegiant Travel Co. spokeswoman would not confirm to the newspaper the flights’ Bay Area destination, but Allegiant only operates flights to one airport: Oakland International Airport.
Flights aren’t expected until April.
