Niles, Oral Roberts down Oakland, Mich., 93-86

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Warren Niles hit seven 3-pointers among his 28 points Saturday night to lead Oral Roberts to a 93-86 victory over Oakland, Mich., for its 11th straight victory.

Dominique Morrison added 24 points for the Golden Eagles (18-4, 10-0), won also ran their winnings streaks to 18 at home and 17 in the Summit League. Michael Craion scored 14 points and Roderick Pearson 11.

Reggie Hamilton had his seventh game with at least 30, riding seven 3-pointers to 30 points for the Golden Grizzlies (11-11, 5-5). Travis Bader added 19 points and Drew Valentine 15 as Oakland’s three-game winning streak ended.

The Golden Eagles went 10 of 20 from 3-point range, while the Golden Grizzlies made 15 of 28.

Oakland led 46-45 at intermission, but its streak of 10 straight victories when leading at halftime was snapped.

Oral Roberts won the teams’ first meeting 89-80 on Jan. 3 in Michigan.
