BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — A Puget Sound Energy spokesman says the utility hopes to have its remaining out-of-service customers back on line sometime Wednesday.

As of late Tuesday night, it still had about 12,000 to go, mainly in Thurston and south King counties.

Spokesman Roger Thompson says since last week’s snow and ice storm began, the utility has restored power to more than 400,000 customers. Puget Sound Energy has 1.1 million electrical customers in Western Washington.
