Savannah State routs Stetson 75-45

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Deric Rudolph scored 20 points, with all but two coming from 3-point range, and Savannah State routed Stetson 75-45 on Monday night.

Rudolph was 6 of 8 from behind the arc, helping the Tigers (10-10, 6-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) to 55-percent shooting from the outside (11 of 20).

Preston Blackmon added 15 points and Rashad Hassan 12 for the Tigers, who handed Stetson its fourth straight loss. Arnold Louis grabbed 14 rebounds and Savannah State topped Stetson 47-32 on the boards.

The Hatters, who averaged 86.3 points over their previous three games, shot 33.3 percent from the field (17 of 51), including going 1 of 10 from 3-point range.

Adam Pegg, who averaged 24 points over that same three-game span, scored just nine against the Tigers.

Chris Perez led the Hatters (7-13, 4-6) with 12 points and Willie Green added 10.
