BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Javon McCrae scored 17 points and Zach Filzen added 16 as Buffalo used a second-half surge to defeat Eastern Michigan 65-47 on Tuesday night for the Bulls’ third straight win.
Mitchell Watt added 14 points and Jarod Oldham had 10 assists for Buffalo (11-6, 4-2 Mid-American Conference), which snapped the Eagles’ three-game winning streak.
Eastern Michigan scored nine of the last 11 points of the first half to trail 24-23.
After Darrell Lampley’s layup gave the Eagles a 25-24 lead, Buffalo answered with a 14-4 run to pull away.
