Battle Ground — The third annual Resolution Run put on by Get Bold Events more than doubled in size this year. The run, on Jan. 8, included a 5K and 10K course and began in Battle Ground Village. Organizers Elba Benzler and Karen King added a Polar Bear Slide, a hot air balloon and other vendors and activities. The award ceremony featured a hip-hop performance by Bold Training Performance dancers. Volunteers and Clark County Fire Cadets helped make the run a huge success, said organizers. This event benefits the Clark County Fire & Rescue Fire Cadet Program Booster Club. For photos and race results go to http://resolutionrun.getboldevents.com.
