Authorities Wednesday night were looking for a man who robbed the US Bank in Orchards at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday.

The man entered the bank at 6407 N.E. 117th Ave., approached a bank employee, announced the bank was being robbed and demanded money.

Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Roberts said an employee put money in a bag and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was seen or alleged to have been involved, Roberts said.

A search by deputies and K-9 Saver were unsuccessful.

Roberts described the man as white, mid-40s, 5 foot 10 inches with a medium build. He was wearing a gray-green camo jacket with a hood, a red and black baseball cap, blue jeans, and dark colored gloves.

Roberts asked anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office Central Precinct at 360-397-6195, the Tactical Detective Unit (Sgt. Duncan Hoss) at 306-397-6079 or, if the information is immediate, 911.
