POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Chase Grabau went 11-of-15 from the field Thursday night on the way to a 30-point effort, Melvin Morgan added 22 and Kenny McGowen put up 18 as Idaho State defeated Northern Colorado 99-94 in double overtime.

Sherrod Baldwin scored five of Idaho State’s final six points, including a 3-pointer as the shot clock expired, to ice it with 15 seconds left.

Idaho State (6-14, 4-4 Big Sky) started quickly, putting up eight points before Northern Colorado (6-13, 3-5) found the basket. The Bengals’ defense was stifling early on, forcing the Bears to turn the ball over on three of their first four possessions. Idaho State already had a double-digit lead in the first eight minutes.

Northern Colorado opened the second half on a 12-3 run to build a six-point lead with 12 minutes to play.

Elliott Lloyd was Northern Colorado’s leading scorer with 30 points, and Emmanuel Addo scored 28.
