Portland homeowner shoots suspected burglar

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police say a Portland homeowner shot a suspected burglar with a gun firing rubber bullets.
The man told police he caught the suspect before 4 a.m. Friday trying to break in his back door.
After he was shot, the suspect fled.
Officers searched the neighborhood and found a man who had been hit by at least one rubber bullet.
