Puget Sound Energy says outages restored

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) -- Puget Sound Energy says it has restored electricity to all customers who lost power in the past week in winter storms.

Spokeswoman Terri-Ann Betancourt says the out-of-state line crews are standing down and going home. She says it will take weeks to add up all the damages.

Customers claiming a $50 credit for being out of power for five full days should see that on bills starting in mid-February. Betancourt says there are tens of thousands of those customers.

Crews restored service to more than 400,000 PSE customers or more than a third of all its electrical customers. Some of those had more than one outage as snow, ice and wind storms swept through the region.
