FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots’ offensive line is preparing for another challenging game against the formidable pass rush of the New York Giants.

The previous time they met in the Super Bowl four years ago, Tom Brady was sacked five times and the Giants won 17-14. They meet again for the NFL championship on Feb. 5.

Patriots guard Logan Mankins said Friday all the Giants pass rushers are good and when backups come in they also can apply pressure to the quarterback. Wide receiver Deion Branch said the Patriots could keep extra players in to block if necessary.

The Patriots have done a decent job protecting Brady, who was sacked 32 times in the regular season.

In the playoffs, Brady wasn’t sacked by Denver and was sacked just once by Baltimore.
