North Carolina-Asheville defeats Campbell 95-84

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Matt Dickey scored a career-high 31 points and North Carolina-Asheville defeated Campbell 95-84 in a Big South Conference game on Saturday.

J.P. Primm added 23 points and Jeremy Atkinson had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs (16-7, 11-1), who have won three in a row and 10 of their past 11 games. Primm made five 3-pointers and Dickey had seven steals for the Bulldogs.

The 95 points is North Carolina-Asheville’s highest point total against a Division I team this season.

The Bulldogs shot 91.7 percent (33 of 36) from the free-throw line, with Dickey connecting on 13 of 15.

With the game tied 49-49 in the second half, the Bulldogs went on a 19-2 run, capped by a layup by Atkinson for a 68-51 lead with 11:48 remaining. The Bulldogs led by as many as 21 points.

Lorne Merthie scored 22 points for Campbell (14-10, 8-4).
